Jonathan Shau
Head Instructor
Jonathan Shau is a Certified Law Enforcement Instructor & Certified Self Defense Instructor in various Martial Arts Disciplines. As a Senior Law Enforcement Officer, he currently teaches professionalism, Code of Conduct, Ethics, & Self Defense to not only public servants in the Law Enforcement Community, but to our Security Team as well.
Brian Lowe
Retired Police Sergeant
Brian Lowe is a former police officer with over 35 years of service, with experience including Uniform Patrol, SWAT, and Bomb Squad.
As a training specialist, he delivers advanced training and emergency response instruction. Brian draws upon roles held in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve, RCMP, Halton Police and Sarnia Police Services. Brian holds a Bachelor's in Criminology and a multitude of instructor certificates, ensuring our team is prepared for higher risk scenarios.

VP of Sales
Walter is our Vice President of Sales, leading business development and client relations for Shield Security Group. With years of experience in security and risk‑management sales, he collaborates with condominium boards, property managers, and event planners to craft customised protection coverage plans. Walter’s strategic insight and dedication ensure every client partnership is built on trust, value, and exceeding expectations.
